"Winning isn't everything, but wanting to win is." Vince Lombardi
Competiton brings out the best in all of us. It is vital to our growth and forces us to constantly innovate and adapt. It promotes taking chances and thinking outside the box. Competing makes us more goal orientated and prepares us for the real world. It is a competitive world and not everyone can be on top. Winning is not the biggest factor in achieving success, it is the competitive spirit, drive and the willingnes to achieve.
The same is true in the Culinary arts. Culinary competitons raise the standards of culinary excellence and put a culinarian's skills and knowledge to the test. The Monroe College Culinary team has had great success in Culinary competitions over the past few years winning multiple honor including multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze metals.
Monroe Culinary students will again be putting their skills to the test in numerous upcoming American Culinary Federation competiotns. Below is a list of the upcoming schedule. You can also view our past Culinary competiton results Here.
