Qualifications:   

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three (3) years relevant experience or equivalent training and certification with at least one year experience
  • Proficiency with Windows 2000 Professional and Server, and Windows XP
  • Knowledge of basic multimedia systems
  • Experience and knowledge working with, troubleshooting and assisting other users with current versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and remote access systems
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team member

Preferred:

  • Experience with Windows-based systems, knowledge and experience working with configuring, troubleshooting, repairing, and providing end-user support for microcomputer, laser and dot-matrix printers, image scanning equipment, and Ethernet hardware and cabling systems
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to work collaboratively
  • Demonstrated high-level communication and computer skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality service to students
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead change

 

Responsibilities:    

  • Provide technical support to learning center(s), computer labs, classrooms and administrative offices
  • Serve as technical liaison between technology department, faculty and staff
  • Determine required software and hardware to meet needs of end-user, including installing, testing, and debugging of computer workstations
  • Recommend and coordinate hardware and configuration changes
  • Installs, debugs, and maintains LAN hardware and software. Resolves problems related to network issues
  • Observe and report equipment performance deficiencies, coordinate equipment repairs, and suggest alternative hardware devices
  • Responsible for coordinating installation, maintenance, and repair of all wiring activities
  • Monitor software and hardware maintenance schedules and updates
  • Responsible for specific server maintenance and provides technical LAN assistance to the technology staff
  • Work with helpdesk and other technical staff to assist with user and system problem resolution
  • Focus on several of the following areas; new users, administrative offices, IP phones, user accounts, computer labs, library support, wireless system, and classrooms

Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess strong presentation skills.  A Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred).    

 

Responsibilities:    

  • Build long-term relationships with key high school administrators and counselors
  • Manage a recruiting territory in New York City and/or Westchester County
  • Develop and execute dynamic presentations for high school seniors and juniors
  • Implement outreach strategies that will yield quality prospective leads
  • Coordinate campus tours, Jump Start program, Culinary Iron Chef, and "Lessons on the A Train"
  • Conduct individualized meetings with prospective students
  • Liaison with the financial aid department so as to ensure timely completion and compliance of admission and financial aid requirements
