All American Soccer Player

Monroe Mustang freshman midfielder Jason Royes has been named a first team All-American soccer player by the NJCAA. This is in addition to his Region XV MVP award. Royes came to Monroe from Kingston College, a high school in Jamiaca. According to Monroe men’s soccer coach Patrick Clarke, “Jason is the consummate professional. He’s motivated, talented, and a team player. Maybe most important, he’s a natural leader.” The Monroe Mustangs finished 6-4-2 this season, playing into the first-round of the Region XV playoffs.
