Graduating Monroe Mustang guard/forward Paul Smith has signed a letter of intent to play his senior college basketball at St. Thomas Aquinas, an NCAA Division II school located in Sparkill, NY. The 6'3" Smith, a defensive specialist and jump-shooting sharpshooter, averaged 5.0 ppg and 2.4 rpg this season. He also shot an incredible 40.3% from 3-point range.

Smith, a Mt. Vernon resident and graduate of Mt. Vernon HS, is the fourth member of the 2002-2003 Mustang team that finished fifth in the NJCAA tournament to indicate his senior college preference.

Players
