/ Monroe College Donates Computers (7/19/2004)
Monroe College Donates Computers
As part of its annual upgrade of on-campus technology, on Monday, July 19, Monroe College donated computers to two Bronx community organizations. The first stop was at the Kingsbridge Heights Community Center where executive director Charles Shayne explained that the computers would be used to enhance a number of popular community programs. At the Bronx YMCA, executive director Cid Rivera is planning to put the computers in the teen center. “Monroe College is happy to support community groups in any way we can and this seems a logical way to enable local organizations to improve their programs,” said Dean of College Relations Donald E. Simon, Ph.D
