Monroe honors CO-OP Students

On Monday, March 29, Monroe College held a “Final Forum” to honor the more than one-hundred students who participated in internships during the winter semester. Dozens of employers throughout the metro area employed the students, giving them actual work experience in their chosen fields. “The Monroe Coop Program certainly opens doors for careers,” said, Bronx Cooperative Education/Internship Coordinator Shannon Pill. “It also helps develop confidence and gives students something concrete for their resumes.”
Allied Health Sciences chair Gary Albert (fourth from the left) and Professor Fred Lang (far left) presented certificates to nine Monroe College students at the College’s “Final Forum” last week.
