On Monday, November 15 Monroe College hosted the annual Bronx high school Virtual Enterprise Business Plan competition. More than 200 students from ten different Bronx schools made business plan presentations of virtual companies they’d created in hopes of capturing the Bronx championship. The team from Jane Addams had the winning presentation called “Beauty Inside Out”. As a result, they’ll qualify for the city-wide competition in December, with a chance to compete in the national tournament in April. Some of the judges were members of the Monroe College SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) Team.
