Fordham B.I.D. Kick-Off
On a hot summer day New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg officially kicked off the Fordham Road Business Improvement District at a ceremony at Fordham Road and The Grand Concourse. In his remarks, the Mayor noted Monroe College President Stephen J. Jerome's 20-year effort to see the BID created, praising him for his perseverance and commitment. The BID is already providing supplemental street cleaning services -- seven days per week -- with much more to come. Look for a better future for the Fordham district
