Monroe College Offers free Business Writing Seminar

On Tuesday, April 19 at 6:00pm Monroe College will offer a free Business Writing Seminar for professionals and entrepreneurs who want to improve their skills. This will entail proper language used in a business environment, including letters, memoranda, electronic correspondence, presentations, reports, analyses, and summaries.

Space is limited, so participants are encouraged to call 800-55-MONROE to reserve a seat. The seminars will be held at the college’s Bronx campus at 2501 Jerome Avenue near Fordham Road.

The Business Writing Seminar is part of a monthly series offered to the general public conducted by distinguished faculty members who combine their vast practical experience with considerable classroom expertise. Past topics include: Bookkeeping: How to Use Quickbooks, Tax Return Preparation, and Selling Skills for Small Business.

Monroe offers flexible class schedules, extra academic support, personal attention, and distance learning, and educational opportunities for community members.
