On Tuesday, April 19 at 6:00pm Monroe College will offer a free Business Writing Seminar for professionals and entrepreneurs who want to improve their skills. This will entail proper language used in a business environment, including letters, memoranda, electronic correspondence, presentations, reports, analyses, and summaries. Space is limited, so participants are encouraged to call 800-55-MONROE to reserve a seat. The seminars will be held at the college’s Bronx campus at 2501 Jerome Avenue near Fordham Road. The Business Writing Seminar is part of a monthly series offered to the general public conducted by distinguished faculty members who combine their vast practical experience with considerable classroom expertise. Past topics include: Bookkeeping: How to Use Quickbooks, Tax Return Preparation, and Selling Skills for Small Business.
