| On Friday, June 2 at Columbia's Wein Stadium, Monroe College held Commencement Exercises for more than 1,700 Bronx campus graduates. Along with the more than 600 students who will be conferred at the New Rochelle graduation next week, this is the largest graduating class in the college's 73-year history. Friday's keynote speaker was Maurice DuBois of WCBS-TV who inspired the graduates with the story of his own father's path to success, despite humble origins on the small island of Dominica. The Monroe College New Rochelle Commencement exercises will take place on Monday, June 12 at 4:30pm at the Westchester County Center in White Plains. |
