Monroe host high school Virtual Enerprise Competition

On Wednesday, December 20, Monroe College hosted the Virtual Enterprise Bronx-wide Business Plan Competition. More than 200 students, representing 16 schools participated in the program in which teams of students present business plans they’ve devised for virtual enterprises. The winning team will participate in the city-wide competition in January and ultimately, the winners there will compete in the national competition.

The winning team from De Witt Clinton HS (that had been mentored by the Monroe College SIFE team) created a graphic design company called “Carpe Diem”. This was the sixth time Monroe has hosted the event.
