REP. Serrano Honors Monroe Basketball

On Friday, May 5, Congressman Jose Serrano of the 16th C.D. in the Bronx, hosted a ceremony in his district office to pay tribute to the achievements of the 2005-06 Monroe College men’s and women’s basketball teams. Rep. Serrano presented individual certificates of achievements to each player and a copy of the official Congressional Record that honored the teams to the college. The Lady Mustangs were undefeated NJCAA, Division III national champions and the Mustangs were District III champions and NJCAA, Division I national tournament participants.
