Monroe Students Cater Benefit
| On Thursday, October 5 and Friday, October 6 students from the Monroe College Chapter of the National Society for Minorities in Hospitality and the School of Hospitality and the Culinary Arts catered the Opening Gala and the “Paint it Pink” Cocktail Party for the Art Off The Main Project at the Puck Building in Manhattan. Art Off The Main, a show of contemporary African, Caribbean and Latin American Art, benefited African public health education and research and the University of New Orleans, which suffered extensive infrastructural damage from Hurricane Katrina. The NSMH Chapter at the University of New Orleans is the sister chapter to Monroe’s. |
