| Throughout this summer Monroe College has sponsored its first-ever Summer Law Program for high school students who want to explore careers in law. Seventeen students from high schools throughout the Metro Area are taking college-level courses, meeting with attorneys, prosecutors, and other professionals, and taking trips to locations that provide background and information about law related settings including forensics labs and courtrooms. The program will culminate this Friday August 18 with a mock trial in New Rochelle City Court with Judge Preston Sher presiding. Registration for next summer’s program begins in the fall.
