All-Nighter - A Success!

On Thursday, August 30 the Monroe College held its annual Admissions All-nighter, in which the college’s offices remain open through the night and into the next day so new students, students returning to Monroe, and transfer students can complete the entire admissions process– application, placement testing, transfer credit evaluation, acceptance, financial aid, and registration. Once again the event proved to be highly successful, as hundreds of applicants made good use of the extended hours. They also enjoyed the full dinner buffet by Salsa Caterers, the caricaturist, and the stylings of jazz guitarist Lou Volpe.

“This is an extension of 100% commitment to students, especially adult students,” noted Director of Admissions Evan Jerome. “Many people who came in that night indicated that because we were prepared to accommodate their busy schedules, they wanted to make their own personal commitment to success by enrolling in college.”

Fall classes begin at Monroe on Tuesday, September 11. For more information, call 800-55-MONROE.
