The Bachelor’s Program is Bustling!

The Monroe College Bachelor’s Program is bursting with opportunity for the many students who have returned to Monroe this fall after earning their Associate degrees last spring.  There are also students coming back to Monroe after some time away from college as well as transfer students from other colleges.

“The Monroe College Bachelor’s Program continues to be the land of opportunity,” said Bachelor’s Dean Ted Goldstein in his busy office on the first floor of Jerome Hall.  “And this fall, maybe more than ever, so many Associate graduates have realized that their degree is just one step in their march toward upward mobility.  Also, students returning to Monroe are thrilled with the expanded choices of Bachelor’s majors and transfer students quickly appreciate the culture of individual support that defines our college.”

This fall the Bachelor’s program’s array of offerings is punctuated by a brand new Public Health Degree Program which gives students the opportunity to have significant impact on the health of their communities and at the same time launch successful careers.  In addition there’s a new 150-credit Public Accounting Degree Program that will prepare students to sit for the CPA exam.

“Monroe students achieve because they set their sights high,” said Dean Goldstein.  “And that means viewing an Associate degree not as an end, but as a beginning.  And that’s why our Bachelor’s program continues to grow.”

So welcome Bachelor’s students; you are on the road to success.  As for Associate students, congratulations on taking that important first step!
