Monroe College Collaborates With Morris Heights Health Center To Provide Health Care For Students

Monroe College and Morris Heights Health Center (MHHC) have formed a unique collaboration to provide affordable health care for Monroe's student body of more than 6,000 students.  In an agreement struck last week, all Monroe students will now be able to access health services at any of the six MHHC locations.  The students will be responsible for a co-pay for basic services and have a wide variety of specialty healthcare services available at reasonable fees.  Healthcare services at MHHC include comprehensive medical, dental and behavioral health care, pediatrics, eye care, obstetrics and gynecology, nutrition, and asthma/allergy services.

"Monroe College is interested in more than just a student's academic progress, we firmly believe that being in good physical and mental health contributes to a well-rounded lifestyle" said Roberta Greenberg, Vice President for Student Affairs at Monroe College.
