Men's Basketball Senior Night
On Wednesday, February 21 at Mt. St. Michael Academy, Monroe College held its annual “Senior Night” for the men’s basketball team. As per tradition, the seven graduating players were honored with framed action portraits. After the ceremony, Coach Jeff Brustad went one step further in giving playing time in the game only to the honorees. True to form, they went out and handily beat Kingsborough CC, 114-64. The Mustangs are now 21-7 and gearing up for their playoffs, which begin Thursday, March 1 at 6:00pm vs. Westchester Community College.
