2007 Monroe Commencement: The Success of Thousands!

This year more than 2,600 Monroe College graduates proudly showed off the best of Monroe College during the commencement exercises for the Bronx and New Rochelle campuses.  While the through-the-roof numbers made the Class of 2007 the largest in the college's 74-year history, the graduation ceremonies were about much more than numbers.

"The large number of graduates says a great deal about the motivation of the students," said President Stephen Jerome, "and it also says a lot about Monroe College.  We have tailored our academic programs to reflect the needs of the current business environment and as a result, our students know they are on a path to success."

Culminating a busy week which included four different graduation galas, the Bronx campus Commencement on Friday, June 8 at Wein Stadium and the New Rochelle Ceremonies on Monday Jun 11 at the Westchester County Center marked the first time Monroe presented Master's degrees.  Fifty-three students earned their MBA's by completing their course of study in the King Graduate School of Business.

Congratulations to all the graduates.  May you continue to have success in everything you do and a hearty thank you for being an ongoing inspiration to all Monroe College students!
