Monroe Teaches Senior Citizens!

On Friday, January 12, the Monroe College School of Information Technology began a free two-session workshop on computers for senior citizens. A dozen seniors from the Joint Community Activities Committee of Amalgamated and Park Reservoir Housing visited the college at Jerome Avenue and Fordham Road and learned from Professor Tom Marx and Monroe student volunteers about email, internet, Craigslist, and even playing cards on the computer. The second session in the series will be Friday morning, January 19 at 9:30am.
