Multicultural Monroe

On Sunday February 25th, the Monroe College Multicultural Student Association (MSA) participated in the Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown, Manhattan. About 30 students, including MSA members, Chinese students, and other international students, attended the event. They enjoyed marching through the streets of Chinatown with a banner that read "Monroe College - Happy New Year" in Chinese. Following the parade was dinner and a dragon show. Adanna Marshall, the President of MSA, and Krystle Dookoo, both from Trinidad, said, "The parade was very interesting, and experiencing and tasting the new culture was also very memorable!"
