NABA Sports Career

On Tuesday, May 22, members of the Monroe College Accounting and Finance Club attended a networking reception and distinguished panel discussion on careers in sport and entertainment hosted by the New York Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).  The event, which was held at the Rainbow Room in Rockefeller Center, featured panelists from Major League Baseball, the NHL, the NFL, the NBA and other sports and entertainment organizations.  The Monroe students got a taste of the real world and left with inspiration on how to advance their careers in business and finance.  The NABA is one of the premier professional organizations in the nation, representing the interests of more than 100,000 people of color in furthering their educational, professional, and career aspirations in accounting, consulting, finance, and information technology.
