On Thursday, June 2nd NABA (National Association of Black Accountants) New York State Chapter held its 31st Annual Scholarship and Awards Reception. Monroe students received 10 of the 21 scholarships distribute at the event. The total value of those awards was $17,000.
James Fashakin, a graduate student at Monroe College, received the NABA New York State Chapter Student Member of the Year Award.James becomes the third Monroe College studentin four years to receive this prestigious distinction. Currently, James is working as an intern for Ernst & Young. |
