On February 19 at the fifth annual scholarship and awards gala for the Westchester/Greater Connecticut Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, the King Graduate School was named the 2011 Educational Institution of the Year.
The award letter congratulates the college’s efforts in encouraging the advancement of African American students and says the college has been instrumental in the startup of the Collegiate Committee, a graduate extension of their leadership team. It also it says the King Graduate School encourages students to achieve and excel in their educational advancements and career aspirations, which has helped provide a bridge to reduce the gap between students, educational institutions and the business world.
Also at the event, three MBA students, Ilene Raymond, Ricardo Baez and Stacey Cabrall, received academic scholarships from the organization. |
