Now More than Ever: THE OCA JOB FAIR!

Wednesday, March 24

3:30-6:00pm

With the economy showing signs of recovery, Monroe students will be able to take important steps towards launching and developing their careers at the Job and Career Fair on Wednesday, March 24 from 3:30-6:00pm in the King Hall Gym.

More than 90 companies and organizations are expect to attend representing industries in each of Monroe’s major areas of study.  Over the years, the OCA Job Fair has supported the career goals of numerous students by helping them hook up with internships, careers, or even to simply provide the vital experience of learning to interact with prospective employers.

As in the past, business attire and resumes are required for admission.  That’s why OCA counselors are making themselves available for consultation on resumes, interviewing techniques, and tips on how to research the participating companies and maximize success at a job fair.  Simply visit the OCA on any Monroe campus to get yourself prepared.

More than 700 students took part in the last OCA job fair and many made contacts and appointments for job interviews, secured internships, or even got hired for jobs right on the spot.

For information on all aspects of job preparation and readiness, visit the OCA or call 800-55-MY-OCA.
