Santa came to Monroe on Sunday, December 4 . . . and it was wonderful!
The Bronx campus hosted its annual holiday party for the children of our students, faculty and staff. It was the largest turnout ever, with over 1,400 folks coming through our doors between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
The children were treated to face painting, cartoon characters, a magic show and, of course, Santa – who had a prize for every girl and boy.
It is truly a treat to see the faces of the children light up as they made their way through King Hall – which was decorated as a Winter Wonderland from the front doors all the way through the corridors and into the gym.
It was a very special day for everyone who was present.
Santa summed up the occasion saying as he left King Hall, “Ho, Ho, Ho. Merry Christmas to all!” |
