New York State maintains the second largest state criminal justice system in the United States. And since the tragedy of 9/11, the need for criminal justice and related social service professionals has dramatically risen nationwide.

A Monroe Associate Degree gives you the 60 credits required for many of the exciting entry-level positions in Criminal Justice: including: police, courts administration, corrections, para-professionals in parole and probation, case managers working with the formerly incarcerated and juveniles, and much more.

The Bachelor's degree enables you to pursue managerial positions, or enter graduate school, and advance to the most prestigious positions in criminal justice, including:  court management, victim advocacy, juvenile counseling, correctional counseling, probation and parole, Federal Law Enforcement, and more.

The unique School of Criminal Justice curriculum teaches theory while sharpening hands-on, practical skills through internships, field trips, CJ student organizations, and guest lectures.  You'll meet criminal justice professionals, victims, and the formerly incarcerated!
