Facilities for the School of Allied Health Professions
Imagine a newly created biomedical laboratory that helps students apply their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and microbiology within an exciting and creative small-group environment. That's what many of Monroe's Allied Health Professions students experience each semester!
Monroe's Medical Assisting lab contains patient beds, a large variety of medical equipment, and is carefully modeled after the acute care hospital setting to provide the ultimate hands-on training. Additionally, Monroe College's newest wing - West Hall - houses classrooms and first-aid and CPR training areas that carefully reflect the science, skills, and culture of the healthcare professions. |
