Accounting

Measurable results drive business performance. Companies must be able to prove that their revenue strategies are delivering investment returns. They also must adhere to financial regulatory principles and remain economically compliant. By “crunching the numbers”, accountants gage whether corporate goals are on track. Additionally, they evaluate financial reporting accuracy and enable executives to make sound business decisions. The Monroe College Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting program seeks to empower students with this specialized accounting knowledge.

Students are taught by leaders in the accounting world including CPAs, CFOs, and financial directors. Our faculty of experienced business leaders share their achievements and insights in the classroom impacting student performance on real-world internships. Monroe students gain a competitive edge interning at financial firms, tax offices, and federal agencies.
