Bachelor (B.B.A.) Degree Program in Accounting

The Bachelor's Degree Programin Accounting provides students with a core of accounting courses in preparation for a career in corporate accounting and an M.B.A. degree. In addition, the program helps students develop talents and interests through a wide selection of elective courses. Students are required to take courses in mathematics and business, as well as comprehensive liberal arts courses, which will provide them with perspectives into the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.

B.B.A. Degree students are strongly encouraged to take Advanced Computerized Accounting which features the Great Plains Dynamics Software for mid-sized businesses, large businesses, and multi-national corporations. The course consists of accounting videos, as well as computer based tutorials and exercises.

Accountants and Auditors help to ensure that firms are run efficiently, their public records are kept accurately, and their taxes paid properly and on time. Accountants provide many business and accounting services including public management and government accounting, as well as internal auditing, to their clients.
