Accounting

Accounting is the basis for business decisions. Modern business depends on the ready availability of financial information and analysis. Monroe’s Accounting programs prepare you to provide such information utilizing both manual and computerized systems. The Bachelor's program in Accounting will provide you with a strong background in each of the major areas of study, such as principles of accounting, taxation, cost accounting and advanced accounting applications utilizing microcomputer hardware and software. The program in Public Accounting prepares students so they are eligible to take the Certified Public Accounting(C.P.A.) exam.
