Overview
The concentration in Culinary Management positions graduating BBA Hospitality students, who have already earned their AAS culinary or pastry degrees, for leadership careers in kitchen management positions including executive chefs and business owners. The concentration includes in-depth study of catering, food and beverage cost controls, menu planning and design, entrepreneurship, and theoretical, hands-on nutritional cooking. Students completing this concentration have the necessary tools and skills needed for a very competitive marketplace.
Course Requirements for a Concentration in Culinary Management
In addition to all other Hospitality degree requirements, the Culinary Management Concentration requires successful completion of 15 credits in Health Services and Information Technology courses. |
