Daycare Center Owner

Owners of daycare centers provide children with a safe and creative learning environment. They offer fun activities designed to promote socialization between the children they supervise. Subsequently, they give working parents peace of mind. A career as a daycare center owner can be rewarding and challenging, especially when caring for children from low income and culturally diverse homes. The Monroe College Early Childhood Education Bachelor’s Degree Program offers students valuable insights pertaining to daycare center ownership preparing them to make a creative and educational difference in the lives of children.

Classes are taught by experienced daycare owners, childcare experts, and early education instructors. Students must not only meet the rigors of an intense, advanced curriculum, they are required to obtain real-world work experience in daycare centers, childcare facilities and schools. Whether in the classroom or in a childcare environment, students develop the leadership skills necessary to make learning enjoyable for children.

Graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree Program enter the workforce uniquely equipped to achieve their daycare ownership goals. If graduates want to pursue a career in teaching, a Master’s Degree in Education is required. Visit here to learn how a Monroe College education can get you closer to running your own daycare center.
