The Monroe College School of Hospitality Management and the Culinary Arts is one of the largest programs of its kind in the United States. It is also one of the most selective. Our faculty of experienced chefs, executive pastry chefs, and hospitality managers understands that success in service industries requires pride, passion, and professionalism. Students who clearly exhibit a commitment to these values will not only be welcomed into the program, they will get started on a path toward career success.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management and the Culinary Arts from Monroe College enables students to pursue executive level positions in either industry. Students enrolled in the Hospitality Management track must complete 120 credits in order to graduate. Program courses include Hospitality Law, Sales and Marketing for Hotels and Restaurants, and a Hospitality Capstone real-world internship. Students enrolled in the Culinary Arts program are required to fulfill 120 credits. Courses include Culinary Arts I, II, and Food and Beverage Management.

The Monroe Dining Lab

The Dining Lab at Monroe College is a Contemporary American fine dining restaurant run entirely by students from The School of Hospitality Management and the Culinary Arts at Monroe. The restaurant is designed to provide students with valuable real world experience in a la carte food production and fine dining service.

The Dining Lab will be open Wednesday's and Thursdays from May 22nd through July 25th. Seating times are: 6:30, 7:00 & 7:30pm
