The Monroe College School of Hospitality Management and the Culinary Arts is one of the largest programs of its kind in the United States. It is also one of the most selective. Our faculty of experienced chefs, executive pastry chefs, and hospitality managers understands that success in service industries requires pride, passion, and professionalism. A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management and the Culinary Arts from Monroe College enables students to pursue executive level positions in either industry. Students enrolled in the Hospitality Management track must complete 120 credits in order to graduate. Program courses include Hospitality Law, Sales and Marketing for Hotels and Restaurants, and a Hospitality Capstone real-world internship. Students enrolled in the Culinary Arts program are required to fulfill 120 credits. Courses include Culinary Arts I, II, and Food and Beverage Management.
