Continuing Education

There are several advantages to enrollment in Monroe College's Continuing Professional Education courses and Certification Programs. These include:

  • Tailoring coursework and programs to meet your needs.
  • Providing training that allows you to advance your career.
  • Offering unique programs that balance adult-oriented teaching methods with healthcare industry skills and technology standards

In order to maintain your license, certification, or registration, nearly all healthcare professions require approved continuing education units (CEUs) to be earned within a designated time frame. Your employer or professional organization may recommend specific subject areas of study.

Continuing education coursework enables you to upgrade current academic and technological skills, and also provides an opportunity to pursue new health career fields or specializations. This is especially true of our Certificate Programs.

If you would like information on present course offerings, or have suggestions for courses currently not on our schedule, please contact the Department of Continuing Professional Education and Certificate Programs at (718)-933-6700.
