Cisco Network Specialist

Cyber security is a growing concern in the corporate world. Firewall breakdowns and database hacking can cost companies millions of dollars in revenue; therefore, Cisco Network Specialist careers are in high demand. Cisco Network Specialists are responsible for identifying and eliminating cyber risks within an IT network. They must obtain Cisco Network Certification, have in-depth knowledge of cyber security, and illustrate strong problem solving skills.

The Monroe College School of Information Technology Bachelor Degree Program prepares students for successful careers as Cisco Network Specialists. Students are required to take Cisco 1 and 2 level courses, which are taught by highly experienced Cisco executives, cyber security experts, and IT directors.
