Natasha Neysmith is the Senior Marketing Manager for the Academic Journals Division of Nature Publishing Group. She is currently based in New York and manages a portfolio of sixteen journals covering a wide variety of disciplines from obesity to gastroenterology and molecular therapy. Her experience in the field of science, technology and medical (STM) publishing spans all marketing channels and media including books, journals, CD-ROMS, and online knowledge environments for science and medical communities. Natasha obtained her MBA degree from Monroe College in 2007 and Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Virginia State University.
Natasha has over 10 years’ experience in the fields of marketing and public relations. She has worked as a Channel Marketing Manager for CIBC World Markets where she supported the VP of Technology Solutions and Infrastructure by producing corporate materials on firm strategies and promotional materials on their portfolio of funds and annuities, as well as other sales support materials. She also has worked with Scholastic Inc. where she spent four years implementing marketing and product strategies for Literature Initiatives within Scholastic Education.
Natasha also has been actively involved with a number of organizations along with her educational and career pursuits. Over the years she has taken time to stay active in the community through her affiliations with such organizations as Jamaica Impact, Inc. (JAMPACT), National Black MBA Association, Inc., The Door, as well as the Monroe College Alumni Association & Monroe College Alumni Association Board.
