Mission Statement

The Monroe College Alumni Association connects alumni, students, parents, and friends to strengthen Monroe College and to form new bonds of friendship and professional growth.

 

The Association helps alumni stay in touch through a variety of programs and services. You can find out what your friends are up to through the Class Notes section, or stay in touch through "The Beacon," the Association's e-mail newsletter.

 

The Alumni Association helps young and old graduates stay in touch, by hosting a series of programs and special events. In short, the Monroe College Alumni Association will help you stay connected with the College and with each other.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Monroe College Alumni Association establishes policies regarding the activities of the Association for the further advancement of the College and the Association. Policy formulation is based upon recommendations provided by the Association President and the Executive Committee.

 

The Board is composed of members of the Alumni Association. The Board meets periodically during the year, to assist the Association staff and volunteers in carrying out the Mission of the Association in concert with the strategic goals of the College.

75th Anniversary
Monroe College turns 75! 
It was seventy-five years ago, in January of 1933 - during the worst part of the Great Depression - that visionary people with the foresight and conviction to follow their instincts created what has become Monroe College.
