2005 was the first varsity season for Mustang baseball.  Since then the team has established itself. They played in the playoffs in just their second season and in 2007 they went to the next step, advancing to the first round of the Region XV playoffs. Baseball players have graduated from Monroe and played in Division I and II, as well as the ACBL, an elite summer league. So with a recruiting effort that reaches into the Caribbean, and an aggressive effort at bringing aboard the best local talent, things are looking up for Monroe College baseball team!
