Monroe College sophomore first baseman Robin Bugallo has been selected as an NJCAA preseason All-American.  In 2008, Bugallo hit .439 with 5 homeruns and 38 RBI for the Mustangs.   Robin Bugallo's stats  

Also Bugallo and sophomore outfielder/pitcher Normand Gosselin were selected as top returning players in the Eastern District.  Gosselin hit .420 with 3 homeruns and 34 RBI last year.   Normand Gosselin's stats

In 2008 , the Monroe Mustangs finished 25-13 and were Region XV Division I Champions.  They are the only Northeast team mentioned in the 2009 NJCAA top 45 pre-season poll.
