Patrick Clarke - Head Coach of Men's Soccer
pclarke@monroecollege.edu It's probably not a coincidence that the Monroe men's soccer team has been a winning team since 1999. That's when Patrick Clarke became the Mustang head coach. In his tenure at Monroe, the Mustangs have five playoff appearances, including two appearances in the Region XV championship game. Patrick came to the college from Jamaica, where the Motto could be "mi mundo", "mi vida", "mi quero". My world, my life, my game. He has a vast amount of experiences to draw form: 1984-1990 Assistant Coach Browns town Ja.ULG; 1988-1995 Vauxhall Comprehensive High School Kgn. Ja. Boys Varsity Team; 1990-1994 Head Coach Browns town community club; 1990-1995 Head Crowns Town Boys 416; 1995 to present Head Coach of midlander's youths, Bronx, New York; 416 Senior Championships, during his tenure. In the U.S. he voluntarily coached Evander Childs High School to two Bronx Championship and to the N.Y. City Quarter finals 1995-1997. A 1982 graduate of Kingston College Jamaica, He played youth Soccer, Senior Championship, and business House soccer. Patrick is currently furthering his education at Monroe College in Business Management. |
Delroy Grant - Assistant Coach
A native of Jamaica, Coach Grant played soccer while attending Charlie Smith High School, one of the many soccer-rich high schools in Kingston. In 1989 he came to the USA where he was the captain of the Evander Childs High School for two years. In 1991, he was given a full-scholarship to play soccer at SUNY Oneonta. Coach Grant earned a B.A in Music Industry / Management from SUNY Oneonta and an M.S in Secondary Education from Mercy College. He is currently a Mathematics teacher in the New York City public schools. |
