Marcos Camacho - Assistant Coach
You could say that Coach Camacho has extensive "hands-on" experience in volleyball. While "setting" a standard at Lehman College as the Rookie of the Year in 1998 and MVP in 1999, he was ranked in the top 20 in assists in the NCAA. He then went on lead the Garden Empire Volleyball Association's "Moca" team for three years and serve as an assistant coach for the GEVA regional team "Candela". His credits as a player are impressive. Coach Camacho was GEVA's top setter in 2006-2007 and he played in the Copa del Cibao North Region in the Dominican Republic in 2007, the 2006 USA Open Championship in New Orleans, the Dominican Republic National Championship in 2006, the N.Y. Urban Professionals Volleyball league from 2003-2006, and the Empire State Games while with Lehman in 1998.
