Hotel Manager

The hotel manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotel. These duties are vast, including but not limited to supervising staff, negotiating vendor agreements, building long-term customer relationships, and maintaining financial profitability. It is a challenging yet rewarding career that requires a similarly intense and engaging curriculum.

At the Monroe College School of Hospitality Management and the Culinary Arts, students gain first-hand knowledge of hotel management and service from highly experienced faculty. Our teachers are also hospitality directors, event planners, and hotel owners. Their collective real-world career success prepares students for exciting internships at some of the most famous hotels in and around New York City.

Graduates of the Monroe College Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management enter the workforce with a unique advantage – a real-world education built on real-world experience. Students also have the option to go further in their education. A Master’s Degree can get students one step closer to executive-level positions.
