Message from the Executive Director

Dear student:

The entire staff at Monroe College, and specifically the Office of Residence Life extend a very warm welcome to you. Our residence halls will be the place you  call home while you pursue your degree, and it is our obligation to provide you with a comfortable setting in which to accomplish your academic and career goals. 

Our Residences come in wide variety of models. They are structured in this way because we recognize that student's financial, academic and social needs are just as varied, requiring an equal set of options. As in any college campus, placements are made on a "first come, first served" basis. So it's vitally important that the application process be completed as quickly as possible.

Monroe College residence hall staff members are carefully selected and recognize the importance of quality customer service.  They are dedicated to ensuring that Monroe students have the most positive living and learning experience possible.    Our interest is in creating an atmosphere where you feel like you are part of an extended family.  We see and position our staff to be role models and leaders, but we also expect that they will become good friends so that you'll always have someone available to consult with should any problems arise.
