NYPD Citizen’s Police Academy – June 18th, 2008
Criminal Justice student Erica Ocasio graduated from the NYPD Citizens Police Academy as part of her internship. The graduation ceremony was held at Police Headquarters and certificates were presented to each graduate by Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly.

The School of Criminal Justice and the Criminal Justice Club has had a series of excellent guest speakers designed to bring the world of CJ to life for students.
On January 17th, the Criminal Justice Club heard a special lecture by Ms. Jene′ Tousssaint, a peer leadership coordinator from Day One New York, a nonprofit advocacy group that provides free legal and counseling services to youth who are in violent dating relationships.
