On Friday, May 15, 2009 the Bronx and New Rochelle Criminal Justice Clubs went on a trip to the NYPD Forensic Investigations Division which encompasses the Crime Scene Unit, Latent Print Unit, Police Laboratory, Bomb Squad, and the Firearms Analysis Section.  For the students, the trip clarified the role of the crime scene investigator that many of them see on the popular CSI television series...read more

In conjunction with the Correctional Association of New York, Monroe’s CJ Club has embarked on a legislative campaign to repeal the Rockefeller Drug Laws.   Through February club members worked on a petition drive and gathered 35,000 signatures to present to Governor David Patterson in Albany on March 10, which was dubbed “Drop the Rock Advocacy Day”...read more
