The Monroe College Drama Club (Bronx Campus) serves as a vehicle to enhance not only the lives of its participants, but the Monroe College community as well. Through artistic presentation, the club examines, activates and exposes literature across the generations and blends them to create collective appreciation and expanded levels of acting, drama and creativity. The club also encourages its participants to write original pieces for critique and performance.
The Monroe College Drama Club presents one presentation per semester, incorporating drama, dance, special effects and music. The process of presentation is to motivate an increase in levels of performance, acting, drama and creativity. Trips to plays and musicals, guest speakers and workshops are also some of the activities that members enjoy.
Club meeting time: Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 2:45pm in King Hall Rm 223
