The Monroe Dancers mission is to demonstrate how the art of dance fosters leadership skills, self-confidence, body coordination, focus and teamwork among the club members.  The club also works to create an atmosphere of cultural exploration and exchange.

The Monroe Dancers give lovers of dance a platform for performance, dance workshops, and the opportunity to learn a variety of dance styles from guest instructors. Through the club, student members coordinate events, make guest appearances at college events, organize field trips and attend shows. It also serves to open doors of opportunity in the  performing arts.

Membership is open to all Monroe students who successfully pass the required audition.  Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester. 

The Monroe Dancers meet once a week on Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm in King Hall - Room: TBA.
