The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA) Monroe College Student Chapter seeks to unite students who have similar interests and ideals, who are committed to academic and professional excellence, have a sense of professional and civic responsibility, and are concerned about enhancing opportunities for themselves in, but not limited to, the accounting and finance industries.

The Monroe NABA chapter aims to do this through the promotion of personal and professional development in order to fulfill the mission of "Lifting As We Climb".  Each semester the chapter hosts a series of personal and professional development seminars and workshops on campus. More than this the members are invited to a range of events hosted by the NABA New York Chapter at various companies.

NABA meets each Tuesday at 12:05pm in the ANNEX Building, New Rochelle Campus, room 303.

Note:  NABA personal and professional development seminars and workshops are held on both campuses.

• To encourage and assist members in entering their desired profession
• To provide opportunities for members to fulfill their civic responsibilities
• To ensure long-term financial stability and provide adequate resources to implement chapter programs
• To foster, encourage, and recognize academic development and achievement of members
• To instill desire for self-improvement and professional development

All Majors are welcome to join NABA

Membership fee: $20.

Bring your completed application form and membership fee to chapter meetings or give it to Faculty Advisor Professor Max Torres on the top floor of the Annex building on the New Rochelle campus.

Bronx Campus

Forward all completed applications to Takiese Martin or Professor Jake Lamar in the Accounting Office in Ustin Hall.
