New chefs with assistance from culinary students have made on-campus dining an excellent, healthy option for students. Dining Halls In New Rochelle, students can grab a bite in the Main Hall cafeteria and enjoy it outside in the quiet and picturesque courtyard, when weather permits. All student apartments on the New Rochelle campus come equipped with kitchens. Students living in the apartments can prepare their own meals, or visit the Monroe College cafeteria. Those living in Allison Hall have refrigerators and access to microwaves so they can keep and prepare their own meals. In the Bronx, fresh and inventive dishes are cooked up every day at The Eatery in King Hall-a comfortable, spacious cafeteria with endless options and friendly service. Additionally, Mo Café in Jerome Hall offers a unique dining alternative. Mo Café serves daily specials and is equipped with magazines and computers for a relaxing place to eat well, surf the net and socialize. Meal Plans Students living in residence halls can choose to participate in a semester-long meal plan. The cost of the meal plan is $700 per semester and covers breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Students can also participate in the Mustang Bucks program, which allows students to place up to $100 on their student ID cards for a fast and convenient paymenth method at all Monroe cafeterias. Both types of meal plan can be included as part of a financial aid package. |
